MBBS admissions at NSMCH are through NEET-UG via UGMAC, Bihar (State Quota).

Our MBBS programme is designed to prepare competent and compassionate physicians, with a strong foundation in patient care, healthcare research, and medical ethics. The course emphasizes socially responsible learning, prevention and treatment of diseases, and lifelong education to meet the evolving health needs of society.

How to Apply

You need to visit the official BCECEB website: https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/ and complete the online registration form. Registration is the first step to participate in the online counseling process.

You must upload the following documents as per the registration guidelines:

  • Educational certificates (10th, 12th, NEET scorecard, etc.)
  • Identity proof (Aadhaar card, passport, or equivalent)
  • Passport-size photographs

After completing registration and uploading documents, you need to log in to the counseling portal and fill in your preferences for colleges and MBBS courses. Ensure you lock your choices before the deadline.

Seat allotment is conducted by BCECEB based on:

  • Merit in NEET
  • Category and reservation rules
  • Choices filled by candidates
You can check your allotment status online on the BCECEB portal.

If you are allotted a seat, you must report to NSMCH within the specified time. At the college, you will complete admission formalities, submit original documents, and pay the required fees.

If you are not allotted a seat in the first round, you may still get an opportunity in subsequent rounds of counseling. Keep checking updates on the BCECEB portal.

MBBS Eligibility

NEET-UG Qualification

Must qualify NEET-UG 2025

Education Qualification

Passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

Minimum Marks (Qualifying)

UR / EWS: 50% ; OBC / SC / ST: 40% ; PwD: threshold as specified (approx 45%))

Age Limit

Must be at least 17 years old on or before 31st December of the admission year.

Domicile

Must satisfy Bihar domicile/residence criteria as per the UGMAC prospectus.

Council Recognition

Candidate must have passed qualification from a board recognized by NMC / appropriate authorities.
